CR
Chloroprene is the most successful rubber prepared by Dupont in 1931.
CR is derived from polymerization of 2 Chlorobutadiene particles and it provides satisfactory mechanical properties even without any added components due to its tendency of crystallization.
Reinforced mixtures provide great resistance against ruptures, corrosion and great elastic tolerance.
Similarly, it provides great resistance against weather conditions and ozone.
Thanks to Chlorine atom, CR provides great resistance against oils with aliphatic properties, and if it suffers from fire, it extinguishes fire on its own.

Properties:
Perfect resistance against corrosion and super mechanical properties.
Good resistance against heat and ozone.
Fire extinguishing.
Good metal adhesive properties.
Provides good resistance against mineral oils with high aniline points, silicon oils, grease oil and alcohol.

Areas of Usage:
Production ofcarrier blocks and V belts. Production ofrods and tie rod boots.

Operating Temperatures:
Long term: -20 C° +120 C°
Short term: -30 C° +150 C°
